The most practical method for eye defects such as myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism is to use eyeglasses. However, contact lenses, laser or a variety of surgical options are available for those who do not want to wear glasses. Before laser came out, the cornea, which is the foremost part of the eye, was scribed with special blades, and the bubble and therefore the eye number were changed. Instead of this knife operation, the cornea is shaped by cutting out scratches with the subsequent Excimer Laser. While the hyperplasia in the myopia is reduced, the cornea is being attempted to be flattened in the hypermetropia. For people who do not want to use eyeglasses or contact lenses, LASER is a good alternative, but in some cases it is not compulsory. Like nose aesthetics, it's entirely up to you. However, if the difference between the two eyes is more than 2.50 the person cannot be comfortable with glasses, so contact lenses or LASER can be preferred. Demand is not enough to have it
It cannot be done to everyone that wants it. A comprehensive eye examination, including retina, is very important before the procedure. In the most common method of lasik, the thinner part of the cornea layer is removed as a lid, and then the remaining bed is subjected to laser operation. Then the lifted lid is placed in the same place. Thin cut created in the cornea was made with mechanical keratomes of razor blade shape, but nowadays it is made mostly with femtolaser. So, once one of the two main processes was laser, now laser is applied in both. While the shaping laser process takes place in the seconds, it takes about 15-30 minutes for the preparation of two eyes, from start to finish. After that, it is necessary to pay attention to hygiene and use the drops for 3-6 months without disrupting the controls.
